We have noted that there is much we do not, as yet, know about the many facets of the History of the Holiday that came to be called 'Christmas'....a term originally meaning 'A 'Christ Mass'.
History is not always kind to 'facts'.... not always recording accurately the historical events of the world through the Ages. The world of 2000 years ago is no exception. There is much convolution around the events that have evolved to give us what many celebrate as the Commemoration of the Birth of One known only to us as 'Jesus, the Christ'. A Christmas Story has evolved that has both mystical and religious elements that are as ancient as Life on Earth itself.
It is a Story of our Christ Nature and the story has taken on different aspects as both Body and Soul have evolved over the centuries.

'Most of the people in the world believe that
the One we know as 'Jesus' didn't start performing miracles
until the last three years of his life. That is nonsense.
Perhaps
the first miracle spoken of by the baby 'Jesus' was as he was being born. The
withered hand of Salome the midwife and his older step sister was cured on that
occasion. Perhaps that is exactly where we get the term "Handmaiden" from.
Salome stayed with the Virgin Mary all her life and appears with Mary Magdalene
and the Virgin Mary at the tomb to prepare the body of 'Jesus'. (Mark 15: 40)
By the time 'Jesus' and his family were in route to Egypt the fame of the Baby
'Jesus' was already rampant. One could not just ask a small child for a miracle
and so they would come to Mary and ask her for the Miracle. This is where the
custom of asking the Virgin Mary for assistance began. It also later launched
the belief in the intercession of Saints. It is amazing how customs start.
The Christian celebration of Christmas didn't begin in earnest until 533 AD. People had celebrated the birthday of Pontius Pilate before they celebrated the birth of 'Jesus'. I find that paradoxical although Pilate was the most famous of the converts to Christianity. Also it must be remembered that Pilate had been the magistrate of Palestine for ten years by the time of the crucifixion of 'Jesus'. The locals had witnessed the celebrations of Pilate's birthday for years before that event.
However, they hadn't participated in 'Jesus' Birthday Celebration until after the crucifixion and the conversion of Pilate as a follower of 'Jesus'. Even then, The Resurrection (our Easter) was considered by early 'Followers of the Way' as their most important religious holiday. Today Christmas has replaced Easter as the more important holiday.
The importance of the Resurrection and the Ascension are not well taught in our churches and their significance is not well understood by today's Christians and thus the underlying Meaning and Message of the One we know as 'Jesus' is often past by....while a few take the time to perceive the Wonder of His Teaching.
The
custom of giving gifts to the poor and needy was the practice of the wealthy
families including that of
'Jesus' long before he was born. The church benefited from the wealth generated by
the merchant families.
We know that when the temple of Herod was destroyed in 70 AD that the artifacts of that temple when to England.That is clearly written on the Arch De Triumph in Rome today.
England plays a very significant role in the history of Christianity. It was not only the birthplace of the grandmother of 'Jesus' (St Anna) but also the place of study as far back as the origins of the Magi, which were as old as the pyramids of Egypt. English scholars taught the world their mysticism. That included the Pharaohs and the Caesars.
It also included the royal family members of India and the Emperors of China. That is why John the Beloved was sent in a post crucifixion mission to China. Little Churches of John still exist today all along the silk trade routes.This began the religious nature of the Templar merchants who counseled with the Emperors of China.
Modern Christianity does not include the history of both the east and west in their tales. However, the Events that became 'Christmas' and the understanding of the Role of the Messiahs (dynastic priests/kings throughout the Ages) filled the Earth at the time of 'Jesus'. In His time He was the Expected, Messianic 'Priest/King' and in our time, He remains The Most Famous Man and the most important Religious Figure in all five major religions.
As I noted in previous messages, the Spiritual Observation....including the giving of gifts and other 'trappings' of Christmas, have become a source of pride for America. And rightfully so.
Our Nation is Blessed by this Celebration of this Holiday that honors the One
Who opened our eyes to our Christ Nature.
I, for one, am a big fan of Christmas....of Its Message and Meaning.
I am always happy with anything that puts us in touch with 'Jesus.'

I wish to continue sharing my understanding of
the Story of Christmas as it has evolved in our Time:
In the Age of Pisces, one day many centuries ago, a 'Special One' embodied. We know Him as 'Jesus'....and it is said in metaphysical literature that He had spent eons of time developing His Holy Christ Consciousness until He stood out as 'Very Special' in the Highest Realms of Heaven. He had been preparing Himself for Ages for the particular Service He was to inaugurate on Earth....as a Savoir...., a 'Jesus'....and that is now two thousand years ago.
What was that Service? Specifically....in addition to all the common sense and practical teaching for the average person, He came to awaken in each human/Soul Partnership who was ready for it, the Christness inherent in each one's Creation....the Christ Light that sleeps in most hearts....He came to fan the Soul Flame of Christness that gives Life in each individual. He continues to give that Service for those who reach for it.
Thus, the Christmas Story is the Story of a great Evolved Soul coming to Earth to teach and to demonstrate 'Individual Christness'....a Story that has only just begun....begun by One We know and love as 'Jesus' Who came and opened the Door into all the Greater Consciousness that exists for us and waits for us to experience and become.
And He told his followers in that long ago day, 'I AM' (God is) the Open Door that no man can shut and no one comes to this Greater Consciousness, to Soul 'Awakening' without walking through that Door and entering into the Knowledge that leads each one to knowing WHO THEY REALLY ARE, BODY AND SOUL.
He taught that by using, by developing and expanding that Knowledge of individual, Inherent Christness, each one transcends the physical boundaries....automatically ascending into Heavens of Greater Life.
For the mankind of the Piscean Age 'Jesus' was the Guiding Light, the Open Door into the Ascension for each Stream of Life'.
And today He is among the Great Beings Who continue to Teach and hold open The Door....Christ Consciousness is being offered to all who wish to progress, Body and Soul....to all who wish to live Spiritually as human beings...to all Souls who wish to transcend this physical plane.
Much is possible for those who will make use of the Inspiration generated by this Historical Figure....being not concerned with the details....but recognizing and practicing the Great Truths presented to mankind by this One we came to call 'Jesus'.
For the Cosmic Drama that is evolving through observance of a Holiday called Christmas is nothing less than the sequential Raising, year by year, of each individual Consciousness, bringing with it more Understanding of the Christness within each of us.
Those who have chosen to embody now are being assisted to develop a Higher Consciousness and Understanding of Life. Many are practicing the New Spiritual Information being given in our time. If we are interested in the fullness of this evolving Cosmic Drama, we are, in this country of America, free to search out Truth....the Truth of God, the Truth of our own Beingness....
And to take the Next truly Cosmic Steps being offered to us at this time.

IT IS A WONDROUS TIME OF YEAR.
Christmas has become a treasured and
beloved American icon. At this time of the year, how many of you fondly think
back to your childhood and recall many precious memories of those times? I know
I do. I still look forward to it: the true meaning of Christmas, the
decorations, the aroma of Christmas cookies, the presents, the delicious feast,
and the getting together with family
We even become friendlier with strangers, don't we?
It's a wondrous time of year.

NOW, PLEASE ALLOW ME TO CONCLUDE MY THOUGHTS ABOUT CHRISTMAS....
PERSONALLY, I LOVE CHRISTMAS FOR MANY REASONS....BUT AT THE TOP OF THE LIST
IS THE BELIEF THAT AS THE LOVE OF THE BELOVED JESUS CONTINUES TO FILL THE
ATMOSPHERE OF EARTH AND THE HEARTS OF HUMANITY, WE WILL EVENTUALLY SEE
HUMAN HATE DISAPPEAR FROM THE PLANET.
I BELIEVE THAT MANY SOULS HAVE EMBODIED TO HELP SPEED UP THE PROCESS OF THE EMANCIPATION OF HUMANITY FROM THE DESTRUCTIVE HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE AGES.
WE DO THIS BY DAILY SENDING OUR LOVE TO OUR OWN GREAT CHRIST PRESENCE AND TO THIS GREAT BEING WHOSE BIRTHDAY WE CELEBRATE ON DECEMBER 25TH.
AND AS HIS LOVE RESPONDS TO OUR LOVE, IT FLOWS OUT FROM HIM AS A GREAT SPARKLING RAY AND THE ENERGY OF THE PLANET IS LIGHTENED....
HIS LOVE CALLED FORTH BY OUR LOVE BECOMES THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
WE TEND TO FORGET THAT WE PLAY AN EQUALLY IMPORTANT PART IN THIS SCENARIO OF BRINGING CHRIST ENERGY--CHRIST LIGHT-- TO THIS PLANET.
YES, I, TOO, AM A BIG FAN OF CHRISTMAS,
AND WISH WE COULD CREATE A FEW MORE HOLIDAYS THAT WOULD TURN OUR ATTENTION TO THE RADIATION OF THIS BELOVED 'JESUS'
